We're helping to keep the USPS solvent !!!

Alternatives wouldn't be nearly as much fun.

These last few stops were from Illinois to California, and now on its way to Virginia! It would be cool to have a time lapse video of it jetting its way around! The 'Crapcam'!

I also took out a couple of items for weight purge. If anyone is desperate for three very crude Bottom bracket axles that seem to weigh about 2 pounds each, I can send them along. If not they are getting donated to the local bike Co-op. I picked them up and actually swore when I felt how heavy they were. I also tossed a completely used, dirty and shot chain. I added quite a few goodies and some park tools. I still have two pairs of cheap platform pedals that I couldn't fit.

Ah, cool. shot chain is not completely useless though. someone could build a chain whip with it if their handy that way.

We've discussed this before: not a problem to purge stuff that probably should've gone into the trash vice the BOC. Use your discretion, folks. If you feel you've got something better to put in while you're removing something that a "reasonable person" would condsider junk (my PC-side must be showing), go for it.

Mike: going to have to throw me a bone - and work with someone down the list to see where you can slot in. Welcome to jump in here, considering your visitation situation, but as I've got a day-job it would be cool if you'd take care of the wheeling-and-dealing, then let me know what kind of agreement has been reached. I'll plug you into the list once that's taken care of, okay?

Nice picks, cbchess - thanks for the pics and the update on the Box!

@cbchess did you get a chance to weigh the BoC?

Also, I'll be transfering the contents into a new box when it gets here.

Nope, it didn't cbchess Yeah, felt that heavy too. I'll be transfering the contents to a new box when I get back from my errands this afternoon.

I put in some pretty cool stuff too. I'm sure they won't last long either.

Unfortunately that kickstand is to short for my bike (I just tried to put it on). So it's going back in. Instead going to get the red bar tape and put that onto my barends.
