Well there is hope guys, r2y's last activity is after the time I replied to their PM requesting address. If delivered the 8th as said, and kept 1 full week before shipping it would have been sent out yesterday, so we prolly shouldn't rally the troops just yet...

Maybe add a clause that you need to PM both your shipping address and a working phone number to the previous recipient when you're next in line.

Oh and a heads up guys, I may be out of town the 20th-23rd but it shouldn't affect my times if the BoC makes it.

i'm in favor of being more strict on users with less than, say.. 500 posts or something. if you don't have a lot of posts it means you're either new or you don't visit the forum often. that's not to say there havent been plenty of sub-500 posters who have participated without problems.. so i dunno

it's only been a week so i'm still holding out hope that r2y is just busy with life

I'm surprised upping the posting requirement hasn't been raised higher myself. It's pretty dang easy to just make an account, post 50 ish times, and ask to be put on the BoC and keep everything.

If the person doesn't frequent this forum enough to be known by people, they immediately draw suspicion by me.

Looking at his post history, he posted in this thread on 5/7 but before that hadn't posted since april 26, so he had stopped posting as often before the boc was headed his way. he did pop in and post in here as requested so i'm hoping RaleighSport sees it in the mail soon.... hoping...

hey guys im really sorry, i was out of town taking care of my grandma and just got back to the wet coast, my sister got the box the day it arrived and is sitting here with me now, ill have it shipped out tomm ASAP! ill post pics up to follow tradition, but there were no stickers or map in the box.

Again, super sorry for the delay and having some people grow restless, i was just not around and as the eldest son had the responsibility to fly back home to take care of G'ma

No worries, we just go restless without forewarnings is all, we all do understand that life gets in the way of the silly bike hoby. FYI, if you want stickers quickly stick a self addressed envelope in the BoC as I am the next stop and will be adding them.

The box has vanished before in the past, so everyone tends to get a bit antsy when it hasn't been seen for awhile, especially with newer members or those who may not have a huge amount of posts in. You'll have to forgive us.
