DD,
Are you in WA state? I thought you said that in an earlier post but your profile says Diego Garcia. If I WA, whereabouts? I am in Bellevue. Chris

The BOC couldn't have arrived at a better time. The day after it got here, I was working at fixing up my new-to-me Yokota tandem, and found the freehub was bad. The freehub mechanism was damaged and binding. BOC to the rescue! Someone had tossed in a couple of compatible Shimano freehubs and after a quick visit to Park tools website and Youtube, I was able to transplant the needed mechanism to my wheel.
Here's what I took from the box:
And here is the elegant and humorous artwork that someone prior to me took the time to decorate the box with. I was going to leave it as a surprise, but someone mentioned that the box only lasts so many trips before it needs replacement. (Not to mention totally disappearing and needing a reboot now and then)
I was pleased to see that all the items I contributed to the last reboot had been taken. I need to find some items to replace what I took on this round and then I'll get the box moving again.

Always nice to hear when the Box arrives just in the nick of time to serve its purpose
I love the artwork - have to snap up those pics and save them. I'm almost surprised that someome along the way didn't steal the box, just out of curiosity's sake!

Sorry I'm a bit late checking in, the box has landed here. There will be pictures, I've already pulled my haul and installed/used it mostly I was debating on making more decals but it seems like the supply is alright for now. The box is definitely going to be thinned out and have better stuff added, unfortunately this was the last stop for the art box and I'm no by hand artist so that's over for now too. One last piece of disappointing news, the mysterious surprise seems to be off the table as well.

basically another version of the same story (family affairs). i don't have any reason not to believe the story... i mean if i were gonna steal the box i wouldn't bother pming someone out of the blue and with such a story, I'd just steal it and be done with it. But... but still no box. No confirmation number. Not even a message saying the box has been sent.
incidentally the two posts he made since returning were in the "pay it forward" thread trying to score more free stuff...
