Add me back to the list, Jeff. I'm on a mission to make sure everyone has a chance at acquiring their own bent fork.

Because America! Yeah!

The box arrived on Monday! It looked like this:

No cats in my house to inspect it, but if there were, I'm sure they would have been all about it.

And what I scored:

Those brakes actually complete a set for me! I'm, really excited because I like em.

Waiting on an address from osiris419, and packing it up and sending it out!

Hey, two of my craps! That RD is REALLY floppy, hopefully you have luck finding a replacement pivot spring for it, EDIT: or can move the spring to the other hole! I learned something today hah

You guys are making this confusing to update! What happened to the correct order of the list? According to The List, osiris419 was supposed to be receiving the box after Weasel9.

If the order changes and you guys know it, please share that info with the thread administrator (that'd be me) so that he may keep the cats herded

Some of y'all need to re-read the rules - and apply them to the process. Just sayin'...

Well, since I'm the only one able to update the list, it would be nice to let me know either in the thread or by PM so that I can keep everything tidy. Can't update what I don't know. Did osiris419 get a decent chance to respond? Did he say he was out of the game?

I'm really big on communication. More is always better here - thanks

Seriously... it's not very hard to post when you get the box, or when you send it out.. and it makes Jeff/mine self inflicted punishment easier if we can simply keep track of when it comes and goes and we can locate it if there's a hitch. No pics.. no check ins etc.. that gets annoying, annoying leads to frustration.. and you don't want to make our volunteer cat herder jump ship do you? I know I'm not willing to take over when Jeff's done either..I just help out. So just keep in mind, it'd be best to keep boss man happy.

Crap in. Currently sifting through it, will re-bag a lot of stuff, bags are getting pretty raggedy and the plastic box on top has been cracked to death. Funny to see my old MegaRange freewheel again, I tossed it in there about three rounds ago. Somebody put quite a few miles on it, I think; the gold spray paint I put on the big ugly black cog has mostly worn off.

Paging @mtnbke, I sent you a PM to get your address for forwarding, but no response so far. Let us know if you're still in the game, Big Fella, you are up next.

Edit: Here's what I took out:

Broken dork disc is going in the trash, Simplex shifters I'm gonna try to unfreeze (rust) and put on a Pug, skewers match one I broke on a Sanshin hub, BMX crank is going on a mad-science fixie project (Bwahahahaha!)

Box is packed and labeled for shipping to MNTBKE tomorrow; fingers crossed on Mr Postman showing up!

Edit: I also took out the little James Bond car. The pop-up rear bullet shield still works, I couldn't resist!

Now where was this thing 45 years ago when I really, really wanted one? [/standard C&Ver's lament]

Anyway, Box o' Crap shipped out Saturday, so @mtnbke should be getting it today or tomorrow.

Long since ejected into the unforgiving sands of time, alas. I remember playing with one my friend had, though. It's easy for a 9-year-old to kill an entire afternoon ejecting a little red plastic car seat into the air.

As it gets closer to my next round, I find myself wondering which of my own crap is going to make its way back home. Mostly because I don't remember what I put in until I see it pictured in the thread.

Those were cool! I recall there were a few different scales of that one. I had a 1/32 version - and yeah, the ejection seat always resulted in a lot of hunting around for the bad guy after it was deployed

Great pics - thanks for the update, Tim!

In the next round of editing the list, I would like to be added back into the loop. Since I have started flipping bikes on a continual basis, I find the 'bucket-o-crap' under my bench is filling up much faster.

Have the box. Haven't really looked in it yet.

Some personal drama may keep me from shipping this out this week, maybe next. Will update when I can ship. Please PM me the address of who I am shipping to.
