Yikes, 43 high and rainy. The route is not exactly Paris-Roubaix but sheesh, that could cut down on the friendly conversation!

I'm game. Or, I'm happy to reschedule. Of course, I was planning on catching a ride with ChicagoAL, as we're a one car family and my wife will be working on Saturday.

70% chance of rain.

I'll make the final call tomorrow, but for those driving more than 2 hours, I'd say don't bother.

For a reschedule, I ride most every day. Sunday looks to be nice. Let me know if you are interested.

Here's the hourly forecast for tomorrow. About a 40-50% chance of rain at game time....

I'm in for Sunday, if tomorrow turns out to be as forecast. Why did we swap March and April weather?

Sunday is no good for me as my freelance career has its revenge--a Sunday job. However if the ride doesn't go Saturday (or at least I don't) I would have a...

chance to buy another bike.

What, honey? No, nothing, just chatting with my internet bike friends. Yeah, yeah, I know, you're right, dear, they sure are. And I am too, you're right about that as well. Say, wouldn't you like a nice backrub? And how about I make you a cup of that tea you like so much?

Ride is officially cancelled for Saturday.

Ride is now Sunday Sunday Sunday (In your best monster truck voice).

Same start. Same route. Same tacos. Just a mere 24 hours into the future.

Al. Post pictures of the new bike please.

Do you think she heard?

Sweet!

I won't be riding alone.

It stopped raining but it is still wet, cold and miserable. I'm glad I'm not out right now.

Thanks for the heads up.

I was going to stop by and introduce myself, but how could I possibly pass up a chance to stand around in the cold rain and watch 16 year olds play soccer.

Thank goodness I brought the Easy Up.

If it is raining, well, probably some off-topic crap that is unsuitable for viewing on this forum.

You guys have a good one tomorrow. Today was a good day to stay inside, maybe do a little domestic work, maybe just read a good book.

However my 'need' drove me further afield, and I headed out early, coming back with this :

Looks a bit like Raleigh gold trimmed lug work.

New job, a broken tooth, the weather, and grandkids all conspired to keep me from prepping for and participating in today's ( & tomorrow's) adventure .

So who went to that sale in Arlington Heights? Fess up. What kind of Magnas were there?
