Please help with FD recommendations for 3x7 (horrors!-STI)

I have an extra set of 3x7 RSX STI levers and I am thinking of putting them on a 1990 Cannondale ST400. The current Suntour XCM FD seems to require a lot of micro adjusts with the current downtube friction set up so I don't think it would lend itself well to STI.

Any suggestions that could work for a "normal" touring range 50/40/28 crank and is available in a 31.8 clamp size? Also any special requirements for the crank with STI? This is a Sugino.

The later Cannondale tourers came with STI so if anyone has one please chime in with what yours has.
-thanks

I would try something 9 speed or fewer. You want less "sculpting" of the fd cage plates than comes with 10 speed. A 9 speed Tiagra should be readily available.

+1 I find the best FD's for RSX triples is an RSX triple... However, a triple Sora will work fine, as will a 31.8 105 or Ultegra.
