Old Condor starts it's comeback

I've just dropped my old circa 1963 Condor off for a respray. The instruction was to find the darkest metalic blue they could - light black!
The MD of Condor sent me some nice new gold waterslide decals and enamel headbadge to finish off with. I think he was appalled at the cellulose paint job and DIY transfers.
The lugs are Nervex Professional and the tubing 531DB.
I need to source some parts, but it's not going to be a period build as I intend to use it a hell of a lot.
Sitting about is a Campag Super record chainset from 77, some Fiammes on Super record 27 x 11/4" wheels and a Brooks Swift.
I'll be running down tube shifters on a 5 speed block. No need for more on long steady solo rides.
I intend to use bright red tape and cables against the dark blue.
The frame should be back by Friday.
BTW this isn't a monies no object build, just bits I had from decades ago and a frame that 'fell' my way.

It sounds like a great bike! The Nervex Pro lugs are beautiful, and I'm sure your bike will look as well once complete.

You had better provide pics, and good ones at that, or risk being banned from C&V for a period of one year and a day.

Here's the seat stay detail (sorry only got a phone camera) the thick cellulose doesn't do it any favors. I think this is what you called a 'Randonneur' bike back then.

Build plans have changed.
I've ordered a Sturmey Archer 2 speed kick hub. So it'll have the aesthetics of an old English steel fixed bike, but with a get out of jail free gear.
So hold on a moment!

You skipped a step in a C&V build, usually I will build it up first. Admire my handy work, then take it apart and then build it as something else.
