Joining the Bridgestone Club

I've been enamored with all the 650B conversions and porteurs around the forum (some especially beautiful ones owned by local C&V'rs). My child-seat ride UO-10 was fun to build, but didn't scratch the itch. I needed cantis and lots of clearance. Scoping CL this morning there was a B'stone XO-3 for a reasonable sum (I think). Just picked it up and it looks to be in great shape with stock parts, save a couple of needed touch-ups. I suppose the XO-1 is the sexy one in the line, but being a tall dude, it seemed foolish to pass up the slightly lesser XO-3 in my size and nearby and for 130 bones. I don't think the 1lb difference in the frame will be noticed.

Pics to come (it's gross outside).

Jesse

Looking forward to seeing your updates. I own a 1993 XO-2 that I need to fix up and maybe your project will get me motivated. They are fun bikes.

I picked up an XO-2 last year. I'm fixing it up as my long distance bike. Eager to see your pics!

Remember, xo doesn't mean "crossover," it means "hugs and kisses!"
