So what bike is this?
Hello guys/gals,
Ill make this short. This bicycle used to be my grandfathers. It has a stamp in the front saying Buffalo (Made in Mexico) but the frame says Made in England. Maybe 70s/80s bike? Please help. Thank you. http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/25146305@N06/6993592840/ http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/25146305@N06/6993590604/ http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/25146305@N06/6993589232/ |
Maybe 70s/80s bike********************
I would say 30s or 40s... the pictures are not detailed, cant see details man. Looks like an old bike thats all. |
Ok thanks. It does use the 28" wheels

The British made rod brake roadsters forever, given the condition I doubt it is from the 30s or 40s. A better guess might be 50s or 60s.
The chainwheel might give an answer if you can get a pic of it, the pattern might give the maker away. |
There are millions of these circulating in Mexico, and I believe you can still buy them new. They've been making them for a long time though. It's the classic heavy-duty basic transport bike, I'm pretty sure they're domestically produced. If you want I can check the LBS's and see what brands they are.

Kroozer, your right. I brought it from Jalisco, Mexico. What confuses me though, it's that the frame says Made in England....????
|
Well... you can put made in wherever you want in mx :D
|
yea you can
|
is there a restraining order between your camera and your bike? those pics are from 15 feet away!
|
Well the condition of the bicycle was worst. It was rusted and all I just painted it and restored the chrome. Sorry about the pictures those are the only ones I have :/
|
W/O good pictures is hard to know. Even if the color is right from a couple of miles away you can say that you have a lambo being that what you have in reality is eclipse :D
