Need help identifying this Peugeot

White frame, possibly 1980's. Blue decals. No frame stickers. Shifters are on the top tube/stem.

I determined that it has a Carbolite 103 frame. Any info on this?

'84-'85 P8. could be something different depending on specs?

What kind of cranks?
What kind of derailleurs?

It appears to be their internally brazed lugless construction, so my best guess is an 85-ish P-6 or P-8. (Drive side pics would help)

You can see the specs here and determine for yourself if it is a match.

Thanks so much, Guys! I figured out enough to not get the bike.

On the other hand, how the heck do I upgrade my account so that I can post a "WTB" in the forums for a touring bike, preferably a Trek 520?

Personally, I would like to see more pictures of the bicycle. Based on the paint and art, it could be their anniversary edition.

Not the PH12 Centennial bike as that one had the oval section Carboprofil 103 aero tubing and brazed on aero shifter mounts on top of the down tube and not cable stops as seen on the pic. This bike looks more like a regular PH10 or its later versions which I think was called the PH11 or was it 12 (regular version)....

My PH10S had stem shifters, but it was an early (82?) version. I remember cause I bought clamp-on retrofriction shifters for it to move the shifters from the stem to the DT....thus started my good, long relationship with retros.....

I think you are right that the later PH!0s or P10s and other later derivatives of the bike had them on the DT.

I didn't know that the P8s stepped up to pretty much take over the PH10s place with the similar old setup with the frame and components. My brother's (82 or 81?) P8, was definitely a much lower spec'd bike than the one on the pic. IIRC, it even had chromed steel rims.
