The box is rough and there's a bit of dust here and there, but definitely new and never used. Plus I've never seen them with the black anodizing/paint inside the fins and around the pad... Uber rare haha
That box reads like a Dr. Bronner's bottle. What the crap? I have one (1) cantilever studded holder in my garage. I'm still looking for the mate. Are pads still available for these?

These are the pad and holder, can't replace just the pad material.

Talking about brake caliper axles: Maybe not rare but very helpful, the brake "low rider" tuning axle:

Can't replace just the pads, but Yokozuna makes 'em now:

I hadn't seen another besides the one on my Bianchi. I wonder how long those were made?

You want another? Mine is slightly bent but in your hands, could be perfect.

Just found a pair in all white. That's three pairs I have now.

I put them on my trek. Looks just about right.

Really, I just wanted to bump this thread.

Here's a Campy key fob I've not seen elsewhere. Got it from Wheelsmiths in Palo Alto in '81. It's not a modified shifter handle. I've always wondered if Campy actually made it as a promo piece or something.

My recently acquired 25mm Gipiemme Chronosprint aero seatpost...

I really like the unique aesthetics of the post with the black accents on the upper part and clamp of the post and the thin, tapering slivers of silver running up at the front and back edge of the thin aero portion of the post that relates with the points on a bike's lugs.
They seem to have been popping up lately at eBay,....but not in the 25mm size like this one though.

Welded stainless steel "Retro" toe clips by King I got from my LBS a couple of months ago:

Planning to use them on my 1972 project bike to give it some more "retro-cool" flavor.

I have no idea what bike I might use this on. But it's a nice fondler piece.

I think this is a Sachs from the early '90s. Did you look on Velobase?

Looks like it has some Campy Chorus/Athena DNA in it, especially the shape of the lower pivot.

Sorry. I know what it is, just now where I might want to use it.

It's a Sach Quarz RD. Part of their venture into off-road components. They can bring good prices, and I've heard opinions on both sides regarding how well they perform. I just don't have a naked mtb frame in need. Construction quality, as well as finish, are quite good. Pulleys are sealed bearing, to boot.

Thank you ftwelder, Here's the thread on the build on the bike that started last May:
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...bonio!-Finally!
It was a real fun and surprisingly quick build. All the planets seemed to lined up for me as all the parts I needed for the frameset were items that I accumulated in the last couple of years for a project I did not even have an Idea on what it would be....till I got the Carbonio frameset this year from "schnibop" It all just came together after that.

Wow, you all have such lovely old items. My partsbox is most '90s and devoid of character.

Simplex 26.6. I'm pretty sure these were specific to the Puegeot PX-10. What other bikes used the 26.6 size?

I tried to create an album, but it seems I haven't posted enough yet, or something.
