Takashiri Road bike
Hey all, just saw this bike on craigslist and wasn't too sure if it was worth checking out. Its a white Takashiri road bike. I've searched on here and google and couldn't find anything about this brand. Has anyone heard of Takashiri, if so, is/was it any good? Thanks for any reply.

I'd only pay $40 or so for it and that would only be in a situation where I absolutely had to have a bike right away to get to the hospital because my wife was giving birth to quintuplets. What are they asking for it?

I just saw a white Takashiri the other day. I was riding my Skyline Canada road bike. The frames were almost identical and the serial numbers were the same format. Components on the Takashiri were a little better. Takashiri was probably manufactured by the Procycle Group in Canada. They built and continue to build bikes for various retailers. Skyline was a brand for Consumers' Distributing. I'm not sure who sold Takashiri.
Skyline and Takashiri are nothing special. Basic bicycles.
