Is this a Late 90's, Early 2000 Peugeot Premier?
Someone off another forum kindly uploaded a year 2000 Peugeot catalogue which lists a Peugeot Premier.
The bike looks very similar to the bike I have, although it seems odd to have a model name 'Premier' in the catalogue, but not to have a 'Premier' decal on the bike. Did this become standard Peugeot practise with their later models? Unfortunately, the catalogue image I have isn't brilliant and I can't make out the decals on the Premier model. Not having much luck by googling the later model either.
The bike is equipped with 14 speed indexed gears, Shimano Exage 300EX, Tektro Calipers. The decals say 200 with what could be a letter preceding.
Can anyone confirm what they think it is?

By 2000, I would have expected the bike to have STI shifting, rather than the DT shifters. I think it is somewhat older. The Exage stuff will all have date codes. I had a Europe only Peugeot, 1992/1993 ish, and the model name was the number on the side of the bike. As I recall, mine was a PE-300, or something like that (its been a few years since the bike moved on).
Exage 300 is relatively low end, so if Premier is a high end model, either someone switched components, or this bike is not a Premier.
Mine also had the white sticker, under tape, on the non-drive side chain stay, with the serial number, size and model (common Peugeot practice).

That's mid 90's latest, probably 92/93 as wrk101 suggests, I seem to remember Evans selling off similar spec'd Raleigh Dyna-Techs in 1994/5. Would be worth posting up on retrobike as they are a more UK centric site, and this was a UK / Euro model.

Like you both I thought mid 90's, then I got this link to the 2001 catalogue: https://www.cyclespeugeot.com/PDFs/2001UKr.pdf
The Premier is clearly shown with downtube shifters, and pretty much matches mine, if the pic was clearer it may even be a possible match on the decals, confirming its a Premier.

Very similar to the catalog, however, two big differences. First the one in the catalogs has SORA components, which is also more fitting with that era. Now, like any bike, its always very possible for someone to swap out parts, I do that myself all the time. Secondly, the one in the catalog does not have rear rack braze ons, yours does.
Date codes on components would be my next step, I have found date codes on just about every part on a bike, from QR skewers, stems, seatposts, handlebars, cranks, bb, derailleurs, brake calipers, levers, wheel hubs, cassettes and freewheels.
Based on that catalog, your bike could be newer than my guess, as it shows Peugeot was still selling a DT shifter bike. My guess is yours is late 1990s.
