It looks like a kids' bike with a tiny frame, wheels, cranks, etc. Kind of cool if you have a kid and are looking for a project.

Possible title for a Craig's List ad ... "****er with junky little bike seeks ****er looking for junky little bike". Bike's worth about $20.

i kinda think he got it right. it is a french made bike mimicking the italians, right? wasn't the porsche 356 a german version of the italian sports car? wasn't the jaguar e type the same? and probably the datsun 240z? i could be wrong...

My uncle knows I like old bikes and frequents yard sales. Every couple weeks I get a call saying "Hey I found another English Racer for you". They are usually Huffys or the like...

And if you tell him not to call you about Huffys, the very next day he'll come across a Huffy Serotta.

1970s Restored Motobecane French Cruiser - $850 (Portland)[/h]

Date: 2012-06-20, 5:11PM PDT

Introducing "Bella" -- a 52 cm mid-70s French Motobecane in near perfect condition. I originally purchased this bicycle from an individual who inherited it from her grandmother, who some 30 + years ago relied on two wheels to get back and forth from nursing school. Stored indoors its entire life, the condition of the frame and components reflect the exceptional care she received (what more would you expect from a nurse?).

Bella reflects beauty in France as well as many other wine loving countries. So it was only fitting that she be adorned with locally handmade leather wine carriers and an original Pletscher rear rack. Also note the latest in custom made curved wooden fenders comprised of wenge, maple and oak by Woody's Fenders of Bend, Oregon.

For a Sunday picnic or a stylish arrival at the next wine party, Bella dresses for the occasion.
