Anyone ever ride one of these? porkchopbmx.com has a 25% off code right now and sells them in white, black and brown for 80$. the white one is tempting me.

I tried one for a short period of time. Didn't like the contour as compared to the Brooks Swift. I would be curious to know whether it will "break-in" since it appears to be made of a synthetic material. I gave it to my daughter - we'll see how she likes it.

odd about the synthetic leather. says full grain but I know I have some shoes that claim to be leather but seem synthetic.

Same as the VO saddles. It is leather w/ a laminated underside.

I have a brief case that I thought was synthetic when I first got it. You could tell because it had a woven texture on the inside, kinda like that saddle. But after I'd had it for a while (I still have it, actually, some25 years later) and it is now clearly leather. The woven texture was imprinted and with use it went away. Also, it came with a fake leather smell that went away and was replaced by, of all things, a real leather smell.

As for that saddle, I have no opinion but would love to see a photo of one that's been ridden for a thousand sweaty miles.

Yes, but just a photo please.......We might not want to hear what a saddle ridden for a thousand sweaty miles smells like!
