I would be all about drilling down on this to find out if its old, rare or otherwise. In my way non expert opinion it would be very cool if this was an obscure constructor thing, which I think is possible.
Edit, after quick research it is a constructor thing and endorsed by Jan Heine but seems fairly new to him. Alps and Hirose are in fact a Japanese constructor co. that started in 1918, but closed in 2007.

- A beautiful Suntour VGT Luxe RD courtesy of a BF member.
- I ordered brown microfiber handlebar tape for $25 to try it out and instead received brown leather handlebar tape from the seller which costs significantly more. I contacted them and they apologized and said that I could keep the leather if I wished. Now I can determine if I like leather tape at a great discount price!

I'll be using vintage aluminum bottles on the Grubb, but these holders will work:

The first tangible part of my new custom frame - a decaleur made specifically for it. Next it's off to the local platers to be chromed.

Red/Chrome Michaels Cyclery made in Japan 1982 Raleigh International MkII 531db frame & fork #N2H0602
To be built up as my gravel bike. Hope to fit 700c*35+ width tires. Plenty of clearance in the fork, rear may be too tight to try anything larger.

Bid on a pair of Superbe Pro calipers and won without any other bids. These are the hidden spring version. Very excited to find a pair for less than $85. Too much for calipers, I know but now my group is closer to complete. The only issue is that one of the cable adjusters was toast. It locked up and someone took a pair of pliers to them and not only twisted the thread shank apart but split it along the axis. This is an AL part with a SS sleeve for the cable.

actually, mine went out in the post.
I like Berthoud decaleur - it works, and it's the least obtrusive design by far without a front bag mounted.
But the stupid thing comes with a limp safety pin to pin the clevis rod at the end of the decaleur tubes.
I had a piece of .055 Hasteloy wire and made myself a hairpin cotter pin.
When I wrecked last month and by buddy was kindly policing my bike as I rode off on the backboard, my nickel-based superalloy hairpin disappeared.
No more wire, so purchased the correct 316 stainless hairpin cotter pin from McMaster - 25 of them.
With shipping they cost me $0.62 each, and I don't need 25 of them. So on google groups in just a few hours I sold what I didn't want in packages, bought postage through paypal, recouped most of my money, and kept only the spares I wanted. And provided a valuable service.

Finally scored an '86 Peloton frame after many years of lusting. Should be here early next week.
While Superbe Pro would be appropriate dress, Cyclone is a sexy alternative.

A couple of weeks ago a member posted about a cheap vintage looking sprung leather saddle from China. I got curious and visited the E-Bay store. I didn't buy the saddle, but did purchase 2 small leather tool bags for $12.99 each with free shipping. I got them today. The seller's "p" key must not be functioning, because the bags are pleather. They seem to be well constructed though, so I suppose I got my money's worth - but no bargain.

The Postal truck pulled up.....Postal delivery woman got out..."yes my SKS RaceBlade fenders are here!"...But no, she walked across the street with a box for my neighbor. Darn it
