Thanks!
Great packaging. I am not a big fan of cloth tape but I would be tempted to buy it just for the box.

My girlfriend would love that box, too. Let us know how the skinwall Kendas are -- their other "vintage-looking" offerings seem to have really thick rubbery sidewalls.

French thread VO bb, water bottle clamps and a handlebar water cage bracket (thought I'd give it a try).

A stop at my dead drop last evening netted me a HS topnut and lowercup from obrentharris, Thanks a bunch, and a motherload of Jagwire cables I wasn't expecting for a another week or so. So I get to work on my Trek a bit today.

I got 5 pairs of the skinwalls, at $6 and change each to re tire the bikes I have. I'm not too experienced with bikes, only getting back to them around 6 months agos and all the bikes running junk tires when I got them, but huge improvement. My only complaint is the color of the sidewall is very anemic looking skin, its very pale. They seem to ride OK
This came for me yesterday. A good used Shimano BB and set of non-aero Weinmann brake levers from David325:
The list of things I need for my 650A project is getting pretty small!

A big box with tubes,Kenda gumwall tires, and Kenda liners, they look fantastic on my beautiful Weinmann wheels I found, takes you right back to the 70's, nothing looks right on these old Schwinns but gumwalls

I like the kenda gum wall tires. I've got some on my lotus and I like how they feel. I've still never been able to tell much of a difference between nice tires and cheap ones. Even after riding Challenge Paris Roubaix tires, the kendas still feel nice to me.

Oh, I also got a package of stuff I bought from Colonel Lloyd today.
- VO Cantilever brake shoes
- Shimano Bar ends
- Spanninga Plateo tail light
- Tool roll.
2 of the items were defilingly needed, the others were curiosities. Now I need about 4 more lighting sets!

with all the junk that falls off of the scrap trucks, you dont want to buy really expensive tires around here, it was hard enogh to justify the 140 plus shipping on the wheels, well worth the money, absoultly beautiful condition, and the 45 on the tires/tubes and liners combination, to the wife, so I have to stick with these for now, what pressure are you running? these are the older Weinmann wheels without the safety ridges
