White o-rings came today, but I also won an auction for some cobalto calipers w the original gems, they are going to look sweet on my 84 masi gc. As soon as the brakes get here I can get to work.

Got a cool Lemond TSX frame today. Trying to decide whether or not to refinish it. The previous owner did an amazing job on the Sharpe fill in on Greg's name. First class work.

if it is sharpie, I know that Baby Oil takes it off of skin...and I think (pretty sure) hand sanitizer will remove it from metal and plastic.

Waiting for the mail is like waiting for the phone to ring. It helps if you aren't expecting a call. However I was expecting this!

I got it off. The frame actually cleaned up nicely. Not touching it.

Thanks.

So now I need to know how to pronounce "champion mondial". Would it be French, or is there a specific Dutch pronunciation?

Yes, Chicanes.

Thanks, it's a Swift Industries Paloma bag. My parents bought it for me for Christmas and it just arrived yesterday.

Any other pics?

I love the size and I will eventually need a front bag for my Merckx. Yours looks extra interesting as it doesn't need a front rack.

Yeah it just uses a klick fix adapter which is rated to 15lbs. More than I'd want to carry on the handlebars. Loaded it up with extra layers, repair kit, coffee stuff, and a camera, and it's just over 5 lbs.

No more pics until I get it out for a ride (but there's plenty of em on the Internet already)... Hope tomorrow.

Bits for the Roberts project. My TB-14, 105's showed up today also.

My pedal wrench walked away a while back, so needed to replace that.

Did you get the TB14s that were on sale at Velomine?

Yes, they are velomine sold wheelsmith wheels. I haven't opened the box yet, but they're the 105 hub, 32 non-butted spoke models. Machine built, so I'll be checking them out on the truing stand before mounting the tires (yet to be purchased) tire's on them. I usually have no issues with machine built wheels, but I do give them a once-over inspection.

They are an incredible deal.

We just built up a Cross Check with those and a 105 gruppo we found on CL.

Some SKS fenders and some Tubus racks for a nice commuter.

Those wheels look great on a robin's egg blue CC with chrome fenders.

Some nice Schwalbe Marathons and some older Ortliebs I had here were the finishing touches.

Makes me want to build one for myself.

Killer bike for $780!!!!

Presumably French but we bungle it all the time too. I can't count how many wrong pronounciations I've heard of French and Italian bike things

Anyone have experience with this component source?

Prices look good. Shipping charges? How about timely delivery? Getting what you ordered? Quality of parts? etc.

Greg is well-known to and much appreciated by the Classic Rendezvous crowd. I haven't purchased much from him (a couple rear derailleur housings one time and a whole passel of Kool-Stop salmon pads for Campy holders another time), but anytime I'm in the hunt for some obscure Campy bit, Bicycle Classics is one of places I look.
