Steel for sportives

Not sure this is the right forum, but may be someone could give advice. I am looking to build up a steel bike for competing in sportives and just doing long distance riding or weekend club rides. The rides can have quite a bit of climbing. I am mainly looking at frames from early to mid-90s. I am 5'11 and weight between 161-172 lbs. I saw a nice bike made of Columbus Nemo tubing, but heard there was a rider weight limit. However I cannot find any reference for the weight. Anyone has an idea on whether this frame might suit my purpose? I was also considering another frame made from Columbus Brain - a bit cheaper, but may be not as good as nemo?
Thanks a lot!

I'm riding a Fondriest Xstatus with Dedacciai Optimal, hydro formed steel tubes. It's quite nice, but not at all a traditional steel look with curvy seat stays and fluted downtube.
