New (to me) '62 Dunelt.

Finished the overhaul this weekend, I still have to find some proper cable clamps for the rear brake cable along the top tube - the cable ties have to go.

Hey ! Looks great.....I like the gold color. I have a Dunelt torn down, and have been wondering about what a good color for it would be....I like it in gold ! Glad you have it back on the road.

Cheers,
Joe

Good choice on the blackwalls, too.

Nice looking townie! Do you want the offset cable guides or will the standard top mount style do? I think Origin 8 and Problem solvers make them. you might also check the Bianchi store. The Campi ones off ebay are just crazy too. Don't forget to check you LBS but take a pic along and ask for the guy who has been there the longest.

The blackwalls are going to be replaced this week, the front one is labeled "Bates Dunlop Lightweight" and Made in England and the valve stem is threaded steel like a motorcycle valve stem. Not sure if it's the original tire, but it's very old.

Thanks Bianchigirl, those dia-compe ones on the Bianchi store are the cat's pyjamas, and cheap too.

The only thing I discovered is that I don't like the shifter pulley at the bottom of the seat tube. My heel caught the cable as it runs along the chain stay and I bent the barrel adjuster on my brand new shifter cable. I'll get a new cable and run it along the underside of the top tube and move the pulley to the top of the seat tube.

Thanks for the compliments, I really like how it shined up when it was cleaned.
