I haven't seen a Land shark or Dirt shark in a loonnggg time. Very cool in spite of the hideous paint jobs.

My Litespeed Natchez - it may have been their entry-level road model, but it is still tied for 1st place on the list of favorite bikes I have owned:

And just one of the many Made in Bedford, PA Cannondales that have passed through The Secret Underground Laboratory. This one's an '83 ST (sport/touring) model with 10 double running gear:

When you ride low and sexy like us old Virginia men, you need to be able to reach the brakes.

But if it makes you feel any better, that stem now rides on top of the upper spacer instead of beneath it.

My old Chicago Iron, a 79 Schwinn LeTour, got me back on the road after a 15 year lapse. Alas, sold it earlier this year as apparently I reached an N+ sum that was too large....I don't understand...both cars could still fit in the garage! Got me back wrenching again, at least a bit more serious than just keeping a few Target Magna MtBikes rolling.

1995 TREK 850 MT Track XL. Since this picture was taken, I've replaced the seat with a B17 Flyer Special.

Couple of additional mods to the frameset and we'll get this 1990s Walter Croll in for its first paint finish.

Will use a nos 2004 grey Campy Centaur gruppo.

Think fast gravel road bike with some classic touches like Berthouds, Brooks and Black Rose canvas bags.

My frameset!

General purpose goals in mind, but with Ergos/fenders.

I got it second hand from a guy exactly my size, it was almost as if I had custom ordered it. He does do nice work, and he is very affordable.

I missed yours the first time through this thread. It appears to be the same color, but that is where any similarities end. That is for some serious mountain biking, very cool.
