Suggestions on Tange Champion decal?

Coming off of a late 80's Univega Specialissima, this foil-based Tange Champion decal seems to be rather elusive. Most of the go-to decal makers I know of have been fruitless. Does anyone else have other suggestions?

Man - This one is tough - If you can't get one from TANGE you may be out of luck - Most of the foil backed repo labels just don't match...

Actually, that was not an avenue I had pursued yet, Zandoval. Do you happen to have any specific contact information?

I don't have that particular style, but I do have dozens of Tange "Champion #3" decals if you want one.

Very nice!! Thank you for generous the offer. I am going to continue seeking out the Tange decal but if the results continue coming back negative (which they have for months), I will certainly take you up, John!

did you try asking a seller of decals to make you one? theyve done this for me before maybe youll get lucky or if you have the original decal in scanable condition a local decal maker may be able to reproduce one for you although it may not be dead on but good enough for the 5 foot fake out!

I'm pretty sure that is a Univega specific decal which may be why you're having a hard time finding a replacement.

here's one from a 81 Univega Gran Premio

Frantik is right, this is a Univega specific decal. Although, Velocals does stock Specialissima decals, the Tange sticker is just a bit different.

10speedterror, I did have multiple emails with Greg Softley about this decal but after 8 months of back and forth, I need a new route as he dropped off the planet 2 months ago with the last email being, "I just have to print it."
Last time I contacted the other decal companies, most were at full capacity working hard just to fulfill current orders and didn't have time to create anything new. Perhaps things have changed. A follow up probably wouldn't hurt, especially to Velocals as they seem to have the closest match.

Thanks again for all the replies, everyone.

I wasted 8 months going back and forth with a decal maker whose work never materialized. From the day I posted this thread to the day I applied the decal I count 8 days. Plus, the decal looks SPOT ON to what I removed.

Thanks again, JR. Add another to your list of satisfied customers!
