C'mon, Veloce on an Anniversary bike? Cheap. Plus, those modern campy levers look like floppy dog ears mounted on classic bars, which is a shame. For 2000 quid I'd rather have one of the original 753 ones with SR and change to spare.

Looks fine for what it is.

I personally have little interest in these retro offerings, other than a couple from De Rosa.

As for the modern Ergo on a classic bar, it is a challenge.

Deda and Nitto have some offerings that answer this challenge.

They are all sold out, also they were made in hobbit sizes. I sent emails asking why no 58-59-60 cm bike. No answer. I still prefer my Raleigh Team Pro in 753r with full Super Record Group.

This Picture of my Bike is on Raleigh UK's site.

I wonder, are there many of the originals available?

Looked at a Schwinn Sprint Fixie at the LBS yesterday, not bad looking, had a bit of a vintage vibe to it with a pair of Moustache Bars on it, Reynolds 853 Cro-Mo Track frameset, NICE looking. The $600 tag on it had me walking away! I could get a NICE C&V bike for $600 (or two or three)!

Yah over here, since ti/raleigh was primarily a dutch squad. Every now and then one pops up, from the high end replica's to the real thing. More than 125 at any rate

And michael, that bike is fantastic. Love it.

Didn't see your post, but as soon as I saw the first picture of this bike, I posted that they must have been peeping on your bikes!!

My Grand Prix will look just as good or better. And when I put brifters on all of them, they will be right there with this bike. They want 2k pounds, that is about $2800 or more American.. Sheesh...

BTW, Robbie why did you have to show me those wheels!! ..

ha, if the "robbie's special" of solid, fast steel amd new campy ever becomes a trend among manufacturers it will be a miracle of sensibility! Robbie, I always tremendously enjoy your centurion builds and keep half an eye looking for the right frame to dump that idle 9 speed daytona group on.
