Chrome Plating Service in Canada...

I have never invested in chrome plating any of the components on any of my bicycles, however; I am enamored with my 1939 CCM "Road Racer" but some of the components are in sorry need of chrome plating, the crank set in particular.

I am considering having the needed parts plated, if I can find a trust worthy plater and, of course, afford the cost. Can anyone suggest a reliable chrome plater in Canada. And, perhaps even hazard a guess as to how much plating my crank set would be...

I might get the handlebars and steering stem plated, also, if I can. THX folks.

The Canadian publication "Old Autos", a newspaper published twice a month, has ads for a lot of the remaining chrome companies. I have personally used Cambridge Chrome for automotive stuff with good results. A lot of the cost of chroming is in the prep (labour), therefore the more you do before they get it, the less expensive it will be.
