Vintage Bike Racing Documentaries - Wednsdays in December, in PDX
For PDXers who are into 1970s race bikes and racing, just want to mention that my local bike shop, VeloCult, is playing vintage racing documentaries every Wednsday in December. Tommorrow is "Stars And Watercarriers", about the 1974 Giro D'Italia. 7 pm. If a BF C&Ver shows up, I'll buy his first beer. Next Wednsday is "A Sunday In Hell", about the 1976 Paris-Roubaix. The following week, "The Impossible Hour", on a challenge to Eddy Merckx's hour record. These are all Jorgen Leth documentaries. Pretty brilliant stuff.

Nice, I remember talking about how cool that would be when we were down there. Cozy little theater surrounded by cool bikes... Not sure when but I'm putting this on my to-do list next time I'm in Portland.
