The "throw stuff" reference was my poor attempt at humor, since it's technically not a Campy-equipped bike.
This one gets far more use than the rest of my bikes. It's a Joe Starck built frame from 2000, before they were full-on customs. It was made right when they came out with the new lugs, so I was given my choice between those or the older style. At the time, they offered only two different toptube lengths in a given framesize. I would have preferred a 60cm, but I had to order a 59 in order to get the shorter toptube length I needed. The price back then was about half what it is now.
I know the high bars look goofy (I cringe a little when I look at the photo), but my aging back appreciates them.

Looks to me like you have a great stable.
This one looks quite comfortable and the bar position looks good to me, especially if you have an aching back.

Does this count? Hey, at least the Ergolevers and crank are Campy-made (but Sachs-branded). So anyway, here's my hemi-demi-semi-Campy 8-speed equipped Rivendell. I was going to post this picture on the "Show us your Sachs equipped bike" thread, but I couldn't find it.
Give me a head start before you start throwing stuff...

Really like this - do I see drillium monoplanar calipers? Awesome!
My 2002 Davidson in the sunshine of Phoenix - and working better than ever after tuning the drivetrain with roadrunner2012 yesterday
Looks like my ghost-shifting under load in the last three/four climbing gears has finally been solved. Dish was off by around 1/16" so he rectified that, but not before some tweaking the tension in the RD cable.
Thanks, John - super job!

It came that long and I wasn't sure initially where I needed to be, so I left it for "later". I consider cutting it a little shorter every once in awhile, but I did that once to another frame, and regretted it ever after.

I agree they look like they may be drilled but they are not Monoplaners just Athena sidepulls.

As I´ve just bought a set of 8-speed Shamals for this Olmo I think I am going to have to retrieve it from my neighbour, who is its current custodian!
It is now sporting a black Rolls saddle.

1981 Centurion Semi-Pro.
Had to go with long-reach Tektro's.
Fork drilled on rear to accept recessed mount caliper
Campy DT cable stop and BB cable guide/stop used to accommodate Ergos
8-sp Eurus wheels
Athena, mostly.
Sold to a neighbor down the street, he's now bought carbon, so we'll see about getting it back.

You sure do (although the calipers are normal Athena or something from that era and not monoplaners). The looooong build thread can be found here if you're interested: https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...emy?highlight=

Good stuff - and thanks to you and BGirl for correction about calipers. I like them whatever they are!

My cycling buddy who is not into c&v told me he has an old 8 speed campy chorus group buried in his garage . He told me to make an offer on it but I'm not sure what it's worth, no wheels... Any idea what I should offer?

I'm not sure I'd make an offer sight unseen:
Hoods can be $40 or more.
Missing small parts (on RD's especially) can be impossible to find.
However, $200-$300 depending on model and condition.
Not sure I'd go after a Mirage or Avanti group in that price range.
Shifters, Athena and up: $80-$100
Crankset, Athena and up: $50-$60 (get the right BB)
Calipers, $30 low end, up to $80 for monoplanars
FD, $20
RD, $40-$80 depending on condition.

I would think any Campy 10s compact with any 10s FD would work. You may need to use the spacers available through Branford: https://branfordbike.com/itemdetails.cfm?id=808
