CDI bicycle brand?

Anyone heard of the bicycle brand “CDI”? Perhaps a vintage Italian brand? If yes, where can I find some information on the brand? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

CDI was an importer/ distributor based in Dallas called Curry Distributing Inc.

They had house brand cycles which were produced in France and in Italy.

We had a poster who stated that the Italian ones were done by Gino Liotto.

French CDI road bike?

Curry seemed to disappear in the early to mid 1980's. Have wondered if they may have fallen victim to the recession of 1982 - a tough time in the cycle industry.

CDI dates back to 1972. While they don't turn up very often, I have to agree with juvela. I can't recall seeing any that I'd place into the mid-1980s.

I've had a French CDI bike since the 70's when I got it new. I recently refurbished it after many years of storage and gradual decay. There's more info from the well informed including juvela, connections to other threads and stuff about what i've done with the bike on a thread called 'Another 70's St. Etienne'
