C&V or similarly keen-O Bike shops in Minneapolis?

I'm going to be in Minneapolis for the next couple of days on business, but have evenings free. Any C&V type bike shops I should make sure to visit while I'm there?
Thanks!
Doc

One on One has some goodies of interest to C&Vers. I think Hiathawa does too.

Definitely check out Hiawatha Cyclery. They have odd hours, but they like C&V stuff. There are some beautiful older bikes on the walls there.

You should check out the Angry Catfish, bicycle and coffee shop. It is pretty close to Hiawatha, and they had some gorgeous high-end steel on the walls last time I was there.

Within a mile or so of the previous two is the Hub. It's a bike coop run by bike punks, so they do C&V, but not from a purist point of view.

You may want to check out Calhoun Cycle, People say good stuff about them, but I already have three cool shops in my neighborhood.

All of these are good choices.

I live in St.Paul, right across the river.

I'll pm my phone number if you'd like to chat about choices.

Depending on the night, I could drag you around to some shops if you would like.

Sunrise Cyclery, my old shop, has literally TONS of old bikes; Corner of 29th and Blaisdell, entrance on the 29th street side.

Bins and bins and bins of parts. If you want to know where the great Dia-Compe Turkey-leg Lever Graveyard is, it's there. If you ride a 56, you're in luck, the owner's selling his pretty pristine Dawes; Vivid red, full NR, great shape, I think he's asking 600 for it but you could talk him down to 5. 612.824.6144 (maybe 8144, I disremember.) the person most likely to be there in the evening is either the owner Jamie, who is nearly spherical and a very nice guy; or Shayne, who is barely more than a yard tall and is covered in tattoos, which is how you can tell that she kinows her stuff:

Tell 'em J.R. sent you and you probably won't get pelted with chainrings.

Sunrise looks like my kind of place, may be able to trot over there tomorrow night if I can get my bidness stuff done.

Agree on Sunrise and One on One - great places to poke around. I get all my service done at Calhoun Cycle and Tangletown Bike Shop - not as much to look at C&V-wise at those places (although Tangletown does have some C&V bikes for sale) but they like working on older bikes and do a great job.

At One on One you are looking in the basement. There are some fine machines down there.
