Thanks, glad you like it. I'm going to swap out the DA post for a Thomson, the DA lets the saddle slip when I'm spinning out at 120+rpm. Probably also swap the brake levers for something with a bigger/wider body, the DA levers feel a little undersized, I do a lot more honking on a fixed gear.
I also wouldn't mind getting wider rubber in there, but 29mm is about the max if I want to use the whole rear dropout slot. I have a 17/19t Dingle on one side and an 18t on the other; anything over 29mm hits the brake bridge with the wheel in the front half of the slot. If I stick with gearing that lets me keep the wheel in the aft half maybe I can go a little fatter. I have a pair of Strada Biancas sitting around, I gotta get them on something!
Your friend's Big Block sounds like it should be Big Fun, let us see some pix when she's built. There's an oblique family resemblance there, maybe---Richard Schwinn's daughter Anna is lead engineer at All City.

I am doing a similar build for a friend right now on an All City Big Block.
Mostly DA, but I am using 105/Archetypes from Velomine.
Rounding it out with Challenge Strada Biancas.
Your Waterford is a full step up though.

This is good to know. I was in doubt that he actually ride the frame but the sticker is pretty neat. For the price I think the frame is a great buy with its lugs, aggressive geometry, and unique lugwork. The rear seat stays connection to the seat binder bolt lug is pretty interesting as well. knowing an origin of the frame would help

So where do most of you pista owners ride your bikes? I see that most are true track bikes with no brakes. My Torelli doesn't see the streets, only the Kissena Velodrome doing laps. Haven't raced her yet, maybe never will, but it's still a lot of fun for me to ride such a bike and do "fast" laps, or whatever is considered "fast" at my age!

1938 (but maybe '37) Paramount - this was my Father's bike. He met my Mother while both were riding about the Gettysburg Battlefield, he on his Paramount.
