A huge shoutout to jeirvine
Thanks to jeirvine outing a modified vintage Raleigh Competition on this forum I was able to score a fantastic deal. Having missed it on my local CL I was headed to my warehouse when I took a moment to check C&V early this AM. Seller was ten minutes away.
Somebody put a lot of time and $$ into this Raleigh. Frame is perfect, seller said it's a 1966 but I'm not sure. Serial # begins with an 'A' followed by four digits.
Here are some pics.

That's how it's supposed to work.

Heckuva deal. Glad someone here could grab it. Judging form the graphics, I'd say mid-70's.
