Ann Arbor Swap April 28th 2013......Who's Going?

I have been hearing people rave about this swap for a few years now and I need to go. So.....I am making plans to go up the day before and hang out in the parking/camping area and be early in, in the morning as a buyer.

I plan to attend this show, as well as this Saturday's BikeDetroit at COBO.

I'm planning to go. I attended the show in 2010 and 2011. Huge show. Lots of vendors. Big variety of bikes, lots of parts, etc.

I didn't attend last year as it was the same day as Iab's Spring Ride.

And, after the swap meet is over, stop at Tippins Market and have some pizza. Road Fan turned us on to them a couple years back.

Hmmm...hopefully iab will schedule the annual spring ride soon. If it's not that weekend, I dunno. Kind of a long trip from Chicago but those things are fun!

Tippins has great pizza and a great party-store beer selection, but I'm not sure if you can have beer and pizza there.

I went in 2012. It was interesting. Lots of all things with two wheels. The minibike show was a hoot. I didnt buy a thing but had lots of fun looking at interesting old bikes and people watching. AFter the show my sweetie and I went exploring downtown. Lots of shops. Had a wonderful meal at some middle eastern restaurant.

Great way to spend a day.
