That's right. It was a Stronglight arm. Didn't notice that until I the first time I took it of. They look pretty similar to the NR/SR though.
Now there is modern(ish) Chorus on both sides. As can be seen in this recent pic

My family moved from Nissedal (I'm not sure if this is a town or a county), Telemark, Norway in 1853. Most of the Norwegians moved starting then, until the late 1800's. Earlier (as in the case of my family) they moved to Wisconsin.

I hope to visit Telemark someday!
You'll be welcome if you do

BTW Nissedal is a township in the county of Telemark, and I'd say just a good hours drive from where I live.

I didn't realize the area was so mountainous. I had imagined Lake Nisser to be beautiful. How far is it from Oslo to Bergen with a stop in Telemark? About 500km? Is it bike-able? I should do that. On the bucket list.

Thanks and good luck with the bike.

Checked the map and Oslo-Bergen, with a Treungen detour is about 600 km's. Yeah it's absolutely doable, but get ready for alot of climbing as there is a mountain ranges to be crossed...
