good thing cats are ok with graven images. Is this one from before the series of vases depicting the various incarnations of Nuovo Record?

Love cats but don't have any (missus is allergic). But I do have two dogs. They were both switched to raw food long time ago (alone with many dogs and cats of friends, neighbors, etc) - results are stunning. I won't (can't) go in much details but I worked for major pet food manufacturer in the past plus read pretty much every book and article on the subject - dry (wet) pet food is not the best choice for your pet, dog or cat. Cooking can be tricky too as it is very hard to replicate natural balance of vitamins and minerals found on raw food.

Two good books to get you started
Amazon.com: The Nature of Animal Healing: The Definitive Holistic Medicine Guide to Caring for Your Dog and Cat eBook: Martin Goldstein D.V.M.: Books

And our vet wrote this book
Amazon.com: The New Holistic Way for Dogs and Cats: The Stress-Health Connection eBook: Paul Mccutcheon, Susan Weinstein: Kindle Store

Offal - my guys love it! I buy it in frozen cubes from local raw food supplier, she now has wild game mix as well.
And bones, and necks, etc. Green unbleached tripe - they will die for it, absolutely the most disgusting smelly food ever but they absolutely love it.

I have had many cats in my life, but none like Shiba. He needs to go for his walk one or two times a day.
There are many dogs here at our complex that people take for walks. He acts just like a tiger, not afraid
but will stalk them.
He plays in the shower and drinks from all the water faucets in our home. We have a water bottle dispenser
also.. he uses his paw to hold the lever down to drink from that also.

He wakes me up each morning for his breakfast by either biting my toe or jumping on my belly (he is a big boy)
He greets everyone that walks into his home (Its not my home but his)
He especially loves the ladies. When a lady comes into his Kingdom, he won't leave her alone.

I could go on and on about him.. but my wife says I get too animated whenever talking about him. LOL
