I think if you just polished the rust off the nail and replaced the shag carpet with a nice Berber the bike would look awesome.

(you could always write "San Marco" on the side of the carpet)

I'm surprised this thread is so old and I never posted my hideous Maza:

It's an old photo and things have been changed, but she's still going strong.

Maybe I don't have an ugly bike. I only have five. And I'm no longer into red paint. If it were that baby blue color from the '70s (and a half size bigger), I'd feel closer to it.

sorry/not sorry?

you should clean that fork up and sell it, if you aren't going to use it. those 27" forks seem to be popular and scarce to acquire these days

I've had it for close to ten years. Recently thought about getting it painted a solid color..

its your bike, but I’m with everyone else in thinking that’s way too cool as is. It’s art.

I can clearly see the blue paint under some of that wood grain. Is definitely a metal frame. I saw one of those wrap jobs at the bike Co-Op.

Nice bikes.

A lot of these bikes look really nice. Here is another UgLy bike.

This is one of my favorite bikes though and I ride it a lot. My favorite part about this bike is that it has a Dura Ace rear derailleur and corncob freewheel, but they are on a cheap department store bike.

I needed to clear my head today, so in spite of my hip hurting; I pulled down my tracklocross setup. Mystery dented frame (and $5 NOS rims) from the co-op. Consensus here was possibly Holdsworth, rides like 531. Hubs are laced with 15/16 db spokes, tires are 35c front, 32c rear. Fixie crap cranks were super cheap and 165mm. "Simpsons" pedal straps. A perfect ****box. Light, fast enough on any surface, and ugly enough for people to ask "Did you see what he was riding? as I pass them at the city mtb park.

My main ride. Definitely more practical than anything else.

This Shogun that I got for free. As of now, it has been sitting in the co op for around a month with a bent fork due to a failed attempt to get the stuck stem out. Hopefully, it will ride again with a horribly mismatched fork.

Or this 1994 Scott MTB that I recently finished building up.

It’s got to be my Teledyne… they are just kind of odd looking.
