What ever happened to Bevel Hogg?

He is credited as a co-founder of Trek (with Richard Burke), left the company about 1985, and seems to have disappeared. Just wondering as he seemed to have some strong opinions and influence in Trek's early development, and it is alleged through several sources that Burke made some changes after he left.

Google does not seem to have anything on him (outside of mentioning him in Trek history). Seems odd that he would just disappear.

He's turned up in a Google search. The spelling is "Bevil". He just wasn't involved in the bicycle industry after leaving Trek. Here's an article :

Actually, after leaving Trek, he joined up with another former Trek employee (Tom French) who had been at Blackburn Design after leaving Trek. Together, they formed Kestrel to design and build some of the first mass-produced carbon fiber monocoque frames. After Kestrel he joined Everest & Jennings, as the article states.
