Check my wheelbuilding math for an MA3/Record build, if you don't mind.

The Merckx sitting in the garage deserves to get ridden and I would like to oblige. However, its tubulars are shot, it seems there isn't a lot of choice in the mid-range tubular world these days, I'm not spending $100+ per tire plus a spare and I would prefer someting in excess of 23mm which may not work well with the reasonably narrow Nisi Laser rims currently on it.

I have a set of NOS Mavic MA3's hanging from the rafters. I've been looking on the local auction site for some 36h Record hubs to no avail. So, I'm going to unlace the current wheels and reuse those hubs.

Check my measurements and see if they compare to what you know to be true for 80's vintage Campy Record hubs and if I've got my spoke calculations right before I order parts.

Front- Campy Record 36h
Flange dia. 38mm
Flange from cntr 35mm
Hole dia 2.3mm??

Rear- Campy Record 36h
Flange dia.

Check the Edd spoke calculator. https://lenni.info/edd/ It's good. It isn't 100% intuitively obvious, but it's not bad at all. Play with it a little bit and you'll get it pretty quickly.
Use the green pull down menus. The hub one will have entries for the old Campy high- and low-flange hubs, including separate entries for 120mm and 126mm rear hubs. Use the search function for the rims and search for "Mavic MA3" and it will give you the info you need.

Enjoy.
