Sachs alloy wheels?

Saw this ad on Chicago CL yesterday: RARE Vintage MARS 3000 Bicycle w/cast aluminum SACHS wheels. Here's a shot of the wheels in question:



Have any info about these wheels? The one thing that jumps out at me is that I'd hate to have to replace a spoke. :-)

Wow, those are some crazy wheels, quite cool though. I wonder what happens if they go out of true. And I think replacing a spoke would be impossible.

I would buy that bike ASAP! I love the whole package, and IMHO, the wheels really tie it together for some reason.

That bike is seriously cool and reasonably priced.

The wheels are the icing on the cake. Wish it were local. I would be there.
