Good! I for one, am glad you are!
Honestly, if there is a better collection out there, I haven't seen it. This Pogliaghi is just super and the finest I've ever seen. Great work...

They are the Yellow Jersey tubular specials, 3 for $50. They aren't the greatest but very serviceable and the price is right. The only label is a very small "SERVIZIO CORSE". And no the labels are not on the proper side but I don't think there is any directionality (is that a word?) to the tread.

Very private collector that has purchased several bicycles from me.
Is not a CR member, but does lurk here.
Has not given me permission to post his bicycles.
Nor will he, I'd wager.

Not trying to intrude on anyone's privacy but I wonder why people are so secretive sometimes. Are they afraid of robbery or being bugged by people wanting to buy their bikes? Do they just not want to look like they are showing off? Again I am not making any judgments, just curious. I certainly love to just look at my bikes all by myself but I really like to share them and talk about them. I don't really have anyone locally who is that into vintage bikes so the only way I can share and jaw about them is places like this.

Great points.
I have encouraged him to no avail.
On the other hand, it takes a fair amount of energy to keep my own meager fleet on the road.
I don't have time to worry about his "coming out" party.

For me, one of the great joys of this hobby, besides riding, is to show them off to the folks right here on BF, simply because they are so appreciated by them.
Yeah, I'm in the same boat basically, so this is a great place to talk our bikes up, get ideas and make some friends...

I do too... why own a beautiful work of art, automobile, bike, or whatever and not share it with like minded people? I understand not wanting to be bothered but you can remain somewhat anonymous.

I get what you are saying, but not everyone likes to have their prize possessions critiqued and analyzed.
Heck, you make one or two mistakes on a build and some folks will rip into it like you put the wheels on the wrong ends of the bicycles.
Also, some folks really cherish their anonymous "internet" personna.
I just like the fact that our man BlueDevil63 likes to share his talent with us.

Seeing your magnificent collection is undoubtedly as close as I'm going to get to such a group of fine machines. So...thanks.

I hear you on this point. It can be painful.

Always was the way I did it, unless you are in the few countries who drive on the scary side of the road, right hand turns are sharper, left are of a larger radius, so keeping the labels on the non drive side keeps them intact.
As for the members here who don't show images, privacy is the key. That and I will not lift a copyrighted image and paste it, but I pay for my music too so I am old fashioned.

I must be too, Repechage. Not to devolve this thread but I never understood the entitled attitude of those who think everything created should be free. To them.
Not sure I understand the curve radius reference and how it relates to tire labels. But I'll take your word for it.
I just mount them on the non-drive side because I see no difference one way or the other.

For a given speed, the tighter the radius of a corner taken, the more you will lean into the turn. Right hand turns are often adjacent to the curb. Left turns almost always more open, less leaning is required.
