Ann arbor bike show sunday 4/28 - who's showing and who's going?
The biggest?
https://annarbor.com/entertainment/cl...show-and-swap/
Just wondering which BF members to look out for?
In any event, I plan to attend, but nothing to sell or trade. Despite living in Ann Arbor for 30 years, this will be my first bike show.

I'll be driving up US 23 as well. I enjoyed looking at all the "stuff" last year. I think my sweetie and I had more fun wandering downtown, but it was a good day.
Shall we meet as a group at noon outside where Memory Lane will be? That should be easy enough. AT 6'4" I should be easy to spot!

is Memory Lane the indoor "corral" where the fully-prepared show bikes are? Outdoors near the double doors?

After browsing, I'd recommend pizza by the slice at Tippin's just north of there, or pub burgers up in Ann Arbor or at Brecon in Saline.
Parking will be much easier in Saline.

I'm not crazy about Jolly Pumpkin, their beers are either odd or too hoppy. For beer I prefer Ann Arbor Brewing. Best burger in town is Zingerman's Roadhouse. Haven't been to Grizzly for a while. A really nice place but not a brewpub is Sava's. I'd probably take y'all there.

Dudes, if we're gonna meet up we need to get coordinated today. I know there's a guy who's 6'4", one whose pic has a burly Korean on it, and ... you know I stand in front of maps on walls of brick buildings. Rockhound owned at least one red lugged frame that he liked. We also don't have any phone numbers exchanged or a meeting time set.
I think I'd recognize CB400bill since we've met in the past.
Basically, right now we are not set up to meet, and it won't happen.
First we need to share cell phone numbers with real-world names. I will share mine in PM. I suck at loading pictures so that isn't really an option for me.
For browsing together I suggest meeting at Memory Lane at 10:am, outside between the "building" and the first stock pavilion. There are usually some picnic tables set out and some food trailers at that location. If you want to get there earlier and "get the jump on everyone," great! But be there at 10.
For lunch, I suggest we gather at the same place at 1:30, talk about bikes and food, then go. If we are going to Ann Arbor, I suggest we move our cars to the Tippins parking lot just north (the dentist parking lot should be empty), and carpool into Ann Arbor - parking IS that tough.
Actually there are some great pubs in Ypsilanti, too.
I REALLY hope to meet you guys tomorrow!

Ken, I'm as handsome as ever.
Although I am currently under the weather, I'm still planning on attending. If I take a turn for the worse, I am out.
BTW, I still have your cell number from 2 years ago. I'll see you at 10 am between the building and the first pavilion.
I'll be with my wife and another couple so we are unlikely to go further than Tippin's Market for pizza.

Good job roadfan. I figured someone would get the details down. I just made a suggestion to get the ball rolling and it worked.
See you at the show.

Oddjob2, are you planning on meeting at 10?
Where in AA are you? I'm in the Old West Side, Ann Arbor proper.

I just got back from the show. The weather wasn't as nice as hoped as it lightly rained the whole time I was there. I met up with Road Fan and he helped me not make an expensive part purchase mistake. Thanks again, Ken. Measure twice, buy once.

Anytime, Bill!
But try your rim-brake hole measurement on your bike, and let me know the numbers. I can make complementary tests on my two Treks, and on teh brakes that litter my basement.
Went out for a burger about 1:30 with ROckhOund and Speedy25, at a little pub in Saline, MI. Nice warm end to a rainy, chilly day.
