Old Iroman goes 6 speed Shimergo!
I replaced my shimano 600 DT shifters with veloce 8speed brifters!
my front and rear derailers are the oem 600sis.
After 4 nice rides I'm very pleased with the shifting!
No altenate cable routing was used. I have a couple of dead shifts that haven't
given me any problems. This was my first attempt at this sort of thing, and it worked!

It went together so easy! It's a wonder you dont see more of them. Some day I would like to do a new modern groupe on a 60cm. (mine is a 58cm) But this works for now, and I think it looks really good.

This makes me want to measure the spacing on my son's bike and see if I can get Ergos' to work on his.
