What's a Lion?

https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/n...783882929.html

There is something appealing about the funkiness of this one.

I've never heard of a Lion, but that is a pretty cool and funky bike... That front rack and headlight treatment is especially neat. I'm guessing it's an Asian bike boom bicycle. The seat tube is really relaxed, too.

I agree it looks pretty neat. If it is close I would at least go look at got $100

Like Photogravity I was thinking Asian origin but I wonder if some Serviceman or, more like in DC area, some State Dept employee brought it back from a foreign posting.

Heh, I saw an Apache branded bike, made in Japan, the other day in a thrift store. But I just couldn't see it being worth the $120 they wanted for it. Maybe if it had cool lights & reflectors, like that Lion.

Japanese or possibly Taiwan mid to late 70's. I had one similar not a Lion but the rack was nearly identical and had the dual light setup.

for $99 buy it NOW and ask questions later. The racks are cool enough alone for the $99 price.
