I just sold this one a couple of days ago. Black on white might be considered bland by some, but you can't deny that it's a classic combo. Hint: shiny bits really pop on a white frame.

At the moment I have only 1 white bike, my 1992 Duell. The frame was custom made for me, 15 km from where I lived at that time. It is very comfortable, I did several 200+ km rides on it. When I'm using it, it still makes me happy.

Thank you for your comment!
Actually, there was a little mishap with my project and things delayed by some days.
And, instead of white, my 'new' frame will be a full chrome one instead. Still a Coppi, though.
(From the more modern era of the '90s, with the 'Fausto' written up front.. Still it should be C&V
in about seven years time
I'm not sure if I should post a build thread - I would like to, but a 90's frame with modern components
might not be to everyone's taste. I try to achieve a 'modernized classic' look though.

As for this thread, it's great that so many beautiful bikes have been posted here - I hope this thread will serve as inspiration for many

My first ten speed was a white Atala Giro D'Italia, which had cottered cranks, Simplex Prestige derailleurs, and Weinmann center pull brakes. It was stolen from me at knife point in NYC in the bad old days.

I also had a white 1980 PX-10 which I took to Europe for three months, loaded with luggage and shod with tubular tires. That was stolen from me by a burglar.

No pictures of either. Sorry.

I have the Campagnolo pedals...but I ride SPDs. Clips/traps are stupid.

I still have them on my Zullo Special.

Campy Triomphe and they are my all time favorites.

I ride them with my very old Detto shoes and they are unbelievably comfy while riding.

Goofy to walk around in though.

I seem to remember one IF member showing a Woodrup repainted in white. It was/is drop dead gorgeous. Other accents set it off. And it was not a stark white. Years ago someone told me that if you do use a pure white, to always add a drop of green.
