Pick a Used Saddle Carefully - Handle with Care and Rubber Gloves

I remember reading a Robbietunes post about his sensitivities regarding a used bike saddle.

Never thought much of it until I read this article.

So that's why so many bikes have rusty top tubes.

I've bought some used saddles, but I don't want to know about their provenance.

Lol, public display of nudity in connection with a bike, and immediately
all association with the university is denied vehemently.

Awww... you guys might have ruined Ann Arbor for me for good!....
I used to think very very fondly of that town as back when I was a love struck teenager in the late 70's, I had to run all the way across that town (poor highschool kid with no car or bike) that I never been in before, just to meet up briefly with one of my first loves. I had to run like crazy too as my ride back to Detroit was leaving in an hour.... Didn't notice any looney bikers like mentioned in that article back then, but I guess the very nice college neighborhood must have had it's share of deviants even back then...Anyway, I wouldn't have noticed even Big Foot crossing the street back then, during that love drunk cross town run...... I wonder if she ever knew how far and fast I had to run just to see her back then.....
Ehhh.... she ended up marrying some fancy schmanzy New York Publisher in the 80's anyway....
