Yeah, I do think that was reasonable. Even so, I bump this thread on occasion for updates. For what it's worth, once news came out that the posters were printed, I offered to pay for a shipping tube and for the shipping. I never heard back after that. Maybe it's time to let it die. It's not all about the money spent, because like Robbie said, it's not much. I just really looked forward to that cool poster.

Robbie, do you still have any contact with Bryan? I was thinking about this poster, admiring the framed one on the previous page. Do you think there is a digital file, and would Bryan share it? It’s probably beyond a long shot now, but worth asking.

Bryan went native, sold his stuff and moved to the woods. Renaissance man disconnected.

However, I do have a framed poster. And the book. Maybe I'll take it to FedEx copy center and see if they can reproduce the poster.

I appreciate the thought, but it’s not necessary. I figured a digital file would have worked since I have access to printing equipment. I should have thought of that back then! Thanks Again.

this seems to validate our policy of not allowing kickstarter links here

RobbieTunes 01-14-19 12:39 PM

I don't know anything about all that stuff.

Maybe I'll take it to a sign shop and get it scanned. Would that work?

And there's those of us who paid for the poster but never received it. Wonderful.

I never had a dog in this hunt, but just out of curiosity I went through the thread to refresh my memory. I even pulled up the Kickstarter link and I saw this:

Doesn't he also run the instagram account ClassicDropouts? It's been active.

I assume so, as those are his stats. Go to the KS page, click on his name under "Created By" on the right hand side of the page, and that popup comes up.

I'm here - I still poke around here, but not frequently. It's been so long; I thought everything had been fulfilled. If anyone from back then needs to contact me, please PM me. mkeller234 just messaged me and I'm sending him the original file, or I'm happy to share with anyone else interested. [at]classicdropouts

I hope that Jeep thing is still taking you places. I have your framed poster in my living room, and I actually discussed your book at the Brazen Dropout swap meet this weekend. You're not coffee table famous just yet, but getting there! I'll keep my signed copy, just in case.

PS: I gave Rachel from the North Raleigh store a Bridgestone Radac. Met her at the Cameron Village Harris Teeter.
She was so confident, she walked there. Last I saw her, she was tooling back towards Hillsborough on it.

Hey Rob! Glad you're still enjoying it. Jeep has 286k on it, and it still gets me everywhere I need to go up here in Maine

As Otto Rax mentioned, I have the digital file for the poster. I have uploaded it to drop box so that it can be shared easily. If you would like a file, PM me and I will send you a download link.

Thanks everyone!

stumbled across this thread recently. my copy of the book and poster were wrecked in the mail, and at the author's request, i shipped them back to him for an exchange. never heard from him again. does anyone have a copy of the book they'd be willing to sell? i thought it was cool (despite the damage) the one time I looked through it.

I’ll check my boxes. I’ve moved twice, but if I find it, you get it.
The odds are greater that I’ll find the poster.

mkeller234 06-08-22 07:44 AM

FYI, the high res poster art is still available for free. Send me a PM and I will send you a drop box link to it. I have one printed out and hanging now.
