Evanston Bike Club's North Shore Century 2013 Sept 22 on Sunday
Anybody on BF going to ride the North Shore Century 2013? Let me know to arrange a time and location to meet? Usually a good place to start is Foster Ave Beach and then ride north to Dawes Park in Evanston, from my house that will give me a metric century doing the half century ride. It's a great ride, the streets are marked, if you don't want to fellow the map provided.
"Helmets are strongly recommended! We encourage you to pre-register. The fee is $22 if your registration form and payment is postmarked by August 18th, 2013. After that, the fee is $30 for registrations. No mail-in pre-registration after September 15th, 2012. Registration on the day of the event is $35." Evanston Bike Club information quoted above.

Hey Mike, good to hear from ya. Elle and I are planning on riding the full century, and a number of friends are talking about doing some shorter distances. I hope to finish by 2:00 pm, and then we are planning on grilling in the back yard.

Probably take the kids again like last year. We'll do the 50 if I take the 6 y.o., 100 if I take just the older kids.
