Campagnolo Victory S3 rear derailleur bolts?

I have a campy victory s3 RD. https://cl.ly/0d2W1x442R32 I only have the RD mech itself and the dropout bolt, as pictured here: https://cl.ly/image/0O032T3L0d3H So my question is, I've never dealt with older components, but I imagine I'm going to be needing a c-clamp and a pivot stop? When bolted to my hanger, there's obviously too much play and pivot. Am I able to use any generic c-clamp and pivot stop, or am I going to need to find specific parts made for this RD? Thanks for your help!

(sorry the title wasn't more descriptive...)

Picture of the dropout your installing it on, and a picture of the backside of the RD would help a lot.

Yeah, upon taking this photo it looks like there is something I'm missing that slides in there and locks in one of those teeth?
Sorry for the dropout picture (took it off the net; I'm at work and the frame isn't).

Based on this image I found here, I'm missing the stop that fits in there? : https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7250/7...b8687223_z.jpg

How does one go about finding one of these?

Take a look at this thread:
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ifting-problem

No idea where to get one though, maybe check with Branford Bike, Vecchio's, etc.?

Good lead, thanks. Based on a bit more research using "multi function system", I could use a similar part from the athena RD.
I've emailed Branford and Vecchio's to see if they can help me. Thanks for pointing me there!

If anyone has one kicking around, let me know!

Also, is this part 100% necessary? I imagine it's to keep the rd from pivoting too far counter-clockwise toward the chainstay?
I haven't built my own bike before, so just learning a bit.

Thanks

Yes, the part is necessary as rather than swinging back it swings forward significantly reducing the size of the max cog and causing very sloppy shifting. I have spent too much time trying to track these down. Campy refers to them as the "upper body bush" and it is very common for used Victory and early Athena derailleurs to be missing this part. The best place to find them now is the web site https://www.campyoldy.co.uk/stocklist.htm. If you scroll down past the Spares blue bar, you will see The "signet ring" toothed insert that fits between upper body & dropout on Victory, Triomphe and early Athena rear mechs #7116067; this is the part you want (the description is wrong about the the Triomphe using this part). 18 Pounds for the part plus 5 Pounds for shipping is about $35..

Thanks! I've got two options here now. Half the battle is just knowing the various names for this part.

Thanks for all the resources everyone, I'm sure they're going to keep coming in handy.
