Looking for info.

Hi to everyone, my name is Elvin. I haven't been on a bike for a good while now ( bicycle I should say ). I live about 6 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway and see bikers all the time. I'm sure it's a great ride on the Blue Ridge. Last year a friend was cleaning out his mothers house after she had passed and gave me a Grand Champion bicycle he rode has a child. I'm not finding much info on it.Any info would help. Thanks and happy riding.
Elvin

Hello Elvin and welcome to Bike Forums.

I'm moving this post to Classic & Vintage (from Regional - Southeast) where it might get more replies.

Your best bet is to post a picture, preferably drive side. Then post close ups of the lugwork: head tube and seat cluster where the four tubes come together. Close ups of the drivetrain are useful, too: crankset, rear derailleur and dropout, etc. A photo of the brake bridge at the rear is often helpful.

Also, post any serial numbers that are on the bike. They are often on the bottom bracket or seat tube near the bottom bracket. Sometimes, they are on the rear dropouts or head tube.
