Ya that's the problem with early European bikes. Those 60's-70's riders must all have been midgets.Ed

I had a big one. It was a 62cm, if I remember correctly. Big frame, short cranks. All stock. Never Everything was a little funny back then

Actually, I think the frame is 1 cm smaller than he states.

Molteni? Probably not.

1971, good chance. Lots of later modifications, from the looks I bet it was spread to 126 at one point. Most of the added braze ons can be corrected reasonably easily.

casually interested, but one is looking at near $800 to paint and chrome it correctly, if not more, and there may be a small dent in the top tube, RH side upper quadrant.

Promised myself I would never boy another bike. But if this were in my size I would be interested. My two
Grail bikes pre 73 Colnago 70's Eisentraut A. Ed

If the top tube measure is correct as stated in the auction inquiries (57cm), too long for me.

Good chance this one goes for surprising dollars.

I was surprised. It went cheap, $571.+ The recession is returning I fear.

Yeah, I seem to have mis-placed mine. If you ever fix that thing, can I borrow it awhile? I see a heck of a lot of "too small, but otherwise very respectable" bikes on CL, & other places.

Absolutely. I though about taking a hacksaw to every small bike I see. Should up the number of reasonably sized bikes, right?
