Can't make it, I have to trudge along with mrs. Italuminium's hobbies this weekend.
Plus, I'm car-free at the moment, and it's a hell of ride to Gent and back.
Have fun!

I would offer you a ride, but I wouldn't want to evoke the wrath of mrs Italuminium.

I'll see what I can do. Be prepared that most will be of obscure Belgian bikes, as I find those infinitely more interesting than the umpteenth Colnago or GIOS.
To prove my point and whet your appetites, here's one of those 'almost' shots of my latest Belgian acquisition. The bricks came out well, I think:

BTW, sorry you're not coming, poprad. Would have been a nice opportunity to have that post-ride beer together we missed out on earlier this month.

More pics from Stalen Roos 2013, Gios blue was the color of the day. I tried to photo items other than Colnago, Gios and Merckx, but couldn't resist some.

Wonderful pics Belg-Ital, thanks for posting! Makes me wish I had been able to make it. I really like the Belgian flag paint job bike, nice.

Thanks for posting those, B-IS. You've saved me a lot of work! Now I get to post the few tidbits I liked.

There were quite a few Van Hauwaerts. The best ones were not for sale, however. And the ones that were for sale were way too small. Which was probably just as well. This is a nice big one:
This one is even nicer. For some reason you could only get up close on the non-drive side of these bikes.
This one was really cool. Check out the fork crown on the second pic. I should have taken a better picture of that.

Brands I'd never hear of before, but that seem worth knowing.

Some of those Belgian frame builders are still making nice steel frames. Belg-Ital Steel already posted a picture of the Martens stand (who use the Martelly brand). Vaneenooghe is another one that had a stand in Gent today:

The one bike that I would have bought had it been a little bigger. Under the war paint and the rust is a nice fifties (?) bike:

Non-fixie-I agree it was tough to get a drive side photo due to the barriers/alignment of the bikes. Despite all the gorgeous bikes, no bikes followed me home, but I did get a set of 8 spd Mavic wheels, some Campagnola hubs, skewers, some TA water bottle holders, a set of Cinelli bars and a Regal seat.
