You guys're killin' me! Awesome photos, really makes me regret not trying harder to go. Love the newer frames, probably in the end a good thing I abstained. Mrs. Poprad would not have been sympathetic to a new frame following me home.

Same for me: no bike or frame, but some nice souvenirs nonetheless.
A Czechoslovakian frame pump, a vintage rear light, a Titan bar stem, a pair of those cool red translucent grips and a pair of NOS Rogelli shoes:

I also bought some NOS cable housing in the correct dull orangy red color for my L'Expres at half the original price of 80 BEF.
On the way back I couldn't resist driving by the shop in Antwerp:

More Stalen Roos photos-pieces I picked up, and some more bike pics-hopefully no duplicates and I'm not boring you:

The show in Aalst is more "antique" orientated and mainly adressed to collectors of headbadges, old tax-labels and stuff. I was there to hand over a very old bike wich I rescued from the junk shredder. It was a "Lion Rapide" , built in Aalst in the old days when in that little town lots of bicycle factorys where active. So that bike was 'back home' .

I sort of liked this Hurtu as well, but was put off by the way it was restored. A bit too much if you ask me.

Thanks for the reports guys! Wish I could have joined you... Probably would have 'invested' the little life-savings I have in the stuff laying around there. Those Van Hauwaerts are very nice in particular.
